Responding to the rapid rise of artificial intelligence and industry demand for interdisciplinary talent, Ming Chuan University established and began recruiting for the Bachelor’s Program in AI Applications and Management in Academic Year 115. The first cohort filled all available seats—an early success that reflects strong interest from students and parents in cross-disciplinary AI learning and future career pathways.
AI is no longer confined to information technology; it increasingly shapes business operations, marketing, finance, service innovation, and decision analysis. To meet this trend, the program centers on interdisciplinary learning that integrates AI technology with management. Students not only learn AI techniques but also consider how to apply them across industries and management contexts, developing technology literacy, managerial thinking, and practical application skills.
The curriculum balances theory and practice across AI applications, data analysis, and management. Through projects, industry engagement, and diverse learning activities, students integrate knowledge across fields while building critical thinking, collaboration, problem analysis, and innovative application skills for a rapidly changing AI-era economy.
Full enrollment in the first cohort lays a solid foundation for the program and underscores that interdisciplinary talent development is a key factor in students’ academic choices. Looking ahead, the program will deepen the integration of AI and management, connect on- and off-campus teaching and industry resources, and expand hands-on learning opportunities.
Amid the industrial transformation brought by AI, the Bachelor’s Program in AI Applications and Management will build on its first cohort to sustain an interdisciplinary, practice-oriented, industry-connected learning environment—preparing a new generation of talent who understand AI, use it effectively, and can apply it across industry contexts.
